Well done

1995 Camry DX
I'm a strong proponent of the 3rd gen. Camry.
I've owned this car for 4 years and although it's had a few issues, I trust it more than anything else I've driven.
It would appear that this car was engineered with longevity in mind. With how cheap new car materials can be these days, I was happy to find a car that didn't seem to age so quickly. I'm most impressed with the interior parts that deteriorate slowly if at all. The cloth inserts on the door panels are still tightly fixed on, the cloth on the seats is still soft and free of any rips or separations in the seams, the steering wheel has not degraded with use, there are no cracks in the dash, and the low-cut pile carpet and floor mats are holding up without any significant wear or holes! It has 188,000 miles at this point. Of course, like any car it has its issues. You can expect problems with rubber hoses and fittings (CV boots and intake hoses for me).
Also the power windows and locks tend to fail. I currently have a problem with the drivers window rolling up crooked.

All in all its been a good choice, though.
