Purchased in 2000 this 97 Celica

It's been 8 long years on my 97 Cely with the odometer hitting 250,000 KMs ( Canada )or about 150,000 miles.
This car has seen it all with 11 winters in very snow bound region but performs excellent. The cold weather starting is still awesome on -25 mornings just hit the key and your off.

Car still fools many people who believe it's much newer since it retained a very sturdy and clean look. I have since 2004 had the water pump changed since I was doing the serp belt anyway. The engine still runs flawless and never uses a drop of oil.

A friend has plans to re-do this engine into a bigger pony when this one fails. We may be waiting a while it still sounds and runs like new. I do not baby this car or have I ever which surprises me it has not needed major items fixed.

If you want a reliable used car do look into a used Celica with the 2.2 engine. They say they run forever if you keep the fluid changed and do fuel system every few years.
