Springsteen's box set- something to worship

Bruce Springsteen is truly one of the greatest artists of rock and roll and this box set only shows this more. Springsteen writes three songs for every one that he puts on an album. And on "tracks", Springsteen clearly displays his prowess as a songwriter(NOTE- ALL SONGS ON TRACKS ARE PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED). The first disc(the best one of the four) starts off with his columbia records audition tape and continues with early lives performances from his days in the Jersey clubs. Disc 2 contains explosive rock tunes such as "restless nights" and "roulette" and charts Springsteen from his born to run days to his born in the usa days. Disc 3 is equally powerful and contains an early version of "this hard land". This disc shows Bruce's transformation from front man to solo artist. The final disc, is the Achilles heel of the box set. While it contains some excellent songs, it is some what of a mirror image of the work he did on "human touch" and "lucky town" without his e-street band. This box set is an absolute must have for Bruce fans and a priority for all music fans. Once again we all tip our hat to THE BOSS.
