Little Guys Can Do Big Things Too!

Dave and the Giant Pickle is based on the story of David and Goliath. Dave is played by Junior Asparagus, who defeats the giant pickle.

Dave is frustrated because everyone tells him he's too little to do "big things." His brothers go off to war against the Philistines and he has to stay home in Israel and tend the sheep.

Each video has an "intermission," usually including a Silly Song. In this video, Larry the Cucumber sings a song called, "I Love My Lips." Didn't you know cucumbers have lips? Very silly.

Dave delivers pizza to his brothers at the frontlines and lets them know that they are God's chosen people and He would help them defeat the giant pickle. They basically laugh at him. He lets King Saul know that he wants to defeat the giant pickle, so King Saul piles his armor on little Dave. It is quite obviously too large, and Dave says he would rather be his plain old self. Everyone tells him that the giant pickle is too big for him to defeat. Dave's response is: "He's big, but God's bigger. With His help, little guys can do big things too."

And Dave defeats the giant pickle with one smooth stone and a slingshot.
