Decent product for the price

I bought this product because I had just purchased a laptop and wanted to use it in my house without any restrictions. I purchased it from a home shopping network via their online store. I use this device for my regular personal computer and laptop.

When I ordered the product, the description said it covered a 300 foot radius. When I received the product, I noticed the outside of the box had 4 levels of their product. Level G, G+, N, and N1. G was the lower level of coverage and N1 was the higher level of coverage. Since I had ordered the G, I looked at the coverage picture illustrated on the outside of the box. It showed a picture of a house and that the G model would only cover an immediate area around the product. This picture is deceiving, because right below it, it states it covers a 400 foot area.

It was easy to understand the directions to hook up this device. I attached it to my personal computer and cable modem on the second story of my house. I have wireless internet capabilities on the first level of my home, however it is limited to being seated right under this device. If I walk to the opposite side of my home with my laptop on the first floor, I do not get good use of the internet. It does not do a great job of providing 400 feet of internet coverage in a multi-story home.
