A Walk in the Clouds - if ever a perfect movie.....

Thisis perhaps one of the most perfect movies I have ever seen. IF you are a romantic at heart, you must see this film. It takes place after the 2nd WW and Kenau Reeves stars as a young, husband anxious to come home to his wife and take his place as her husband.
The first 5 minutes of the movie prove heartbreaking, as he finds himself out and alone. Without a home, just home from the war and with nothing to do, he looks for a future.
He takes a job as a candy salesman and finds the woman of his dreams on a bus, crying. He finds out, later, she is with child, unmarried and from a big wine producing family. She knows she will be an outcast. She takes Keneau home as her would be boyfriend and they play out a script for her to get rid of him in a set up arranged to make believe that there is no love lost between them However, secretly, they have both fallen in love with one another.
The scenery in this film is spectacular. Between the days when the fog rolls in and the night filming scenes are simply breath taking. It is filmed in the northern California wine country.
Anthony Quinn plays the old grandfather who is wise and wonderful in this film and he brings comic relief whenever you need a good laugh!
The end of the story continues along with a wonderful ending - one that just makes your heart happy. See this on a day when your heart is heavy or when you need a boost. This film will do it for you!
