Walk Tall Carry A Big Stick

Walking Tall is a true story. Based on the life of a Tennessean county Sheriff, stars Joe Don Baker as Buford Pusser. Other stars are Elizabeth Hartman, his wife, and Noah Berry, his dad.

Sheriff Pusser has to contend with the many evils ways of the backward county he lives in. He fights moonshiners, gambling, and protustion almost single handed. Sheriff Pusser is constantly trying to bring his county forward. And he found a way to do it by carrying a big stick.

The director could not have chosen a better actor to play Sheriff Pusser in this first movie. Joe Don Baker did a super job of portraying Sheriff Pusser. If they would have been smart they would have used him in the sequels.

I would recommend for anyone who can stand a little violence to watch this move. So go rent it or buy it today.

And carry a BIG STICK when you do.
