Author's Review
This album is by far one of the better albums that I have listened to all year. Thursday the young group from New Brunswick, New Jersey consisting of Geoff Rickly (vocals), Steve Pedulla (guitar), Tucker Rule (drums), Tom Keeley (guitar), Tim Payne (bass), and Andrew Everding (keyboards) has truly created something you should listen to. Thursday combines the melodic tones of emo with the enraged screaming of hardcore to create one of the most contrasting but beautiful sounds you will ever hear.

For the Workforce, Drowning starts the album off powerfully. It has a good showing for the rest of the album.
Between Rupture and Rapture provides a great second track for the cd. It's vintage Thursday.
Division St. is just great.
Signals over the Air is the first single off the album. It's not as heavy as the other songs on the album but it's good.
Marches and Manuevers is amazing like the other songs.
Asleep in the Chapel has to be one of the best songs on the cd. This song has a alot to do with Geoff and his spirituality.
This Song is brought to you by a Falling Bomb is very different musically from every other song on the album. It's featuring the keyboardist Andrew heavily.
Steps Ascending has one of the best endings to a song I have ever heard. The last two minutes of this song is just amazing in the construction of the musical tension.
War All the Time, the title track of the album is classic Thursday.
M. Shepard has to be if not the best, one of the best songs off this album. The lyrics and the music all fall together on this song to create an amazing mixture that puts J.S. Bach to shame.
Tomorrow I'll Be You just like M. Shepard is one of the best songs of this CD. Words just simply can not describe it.
Geoff's lyrics are so amazing, I'd be shocked if they weren't dictated to him from Jesus Christ himself. But seriously, the urgency and fragility of his voice throughout the whole album consistently remind me of how personal the lyrics are to him. To put this band and it's album in terms that do them justice: Thursday makes Gandhi look like a child pornographer.
