Attractive, user friendly fryer!
Pros:
Quick and easy to use & clean, great style/design, break-away safety cord, stay-cool exterior sides
Cons:
Vents near panel/lid handle, permanent filter, digital display would be great
The Bottom Line:
All-in-all, this product is very attractive, easy to clean, fries food to perfection and I don't think you could find anything better for the price.

This is our first fryer and it's been worth the money! We've only had it a short time but we've been frying like crazy! :) I never knew it would be so quick & easy and that the food would turn out so well! The food has been crispy and not greasy! I've been amazed with how little oil comes off the food onto a paper towel when finished! Hardly any! We've been wondering why we haven't bought one of these before?!
It heats up to the highest temp (375 degrees) within approximately 5 minutes, but you can hear it working the second you flick the switch on! It's been great for just my husband and I, as it recommends only filling the basket 1/2 full for best performance to maintain temperature.
The dome lid seems to work well... sometimes condensation collects on the window and othertimes it does not (depends on what I'm frying). I love that it has a "condensation catcher" in the rear to collect condensation that rolls off the lid.
The wire basket is very sturdy, especially the collapsible handle in comparison to other fryers I've seen on display. This handle feels much more stable and I don't feel as if it will collapse when I turn the basket upside down to unload food onto a plate. The basket hook is also very handy. You set the the basket on the hook over the oil, load your food, place the lid on and then drop the food into the oil. Once the food is finished frying, lift the basket back onto the hook and let the food set for 10-20 seconds for excess oil to drip off, then remove the lid and unload your food onto a plate.
The only drawbacks are pretty minor in comparison with all the great things about this fryer... First off, the vents on the lid push the steam towards the handle so I've been having to use an oven mit to remove the lid (but my husband says I'm just a weany!!). Secondly, the filter isn't removable/replacable. And finally, it would be convenient if the Control Panel and the Heating Element would disconnect for even easier cleaning (but don't get me wrong, the stainless steel design is easy enough to clean!).
