Adam can't sing, but the movie is great, though!

I wanted this movie to Christmas, so my aunt bought it for me. So, when I sat down and watched it, I became more and more amazed, and confused. I saw it mostly because of Adam Sandler ( I have seen him in movies like “Happy Gilmore” and “Big Daddy”, and I think that he is hilarious!) and Drew Barrymore (Which have starred in movies like “E.T” and “Never been kissed”.) These two actors are really great, and with those huge stars in a movie, it can’t go wrong. It went almost perfect… Here is what happens in the movie.

Robbie Hart is an ordinary guy, who is a wedding singer. He is happy with his life, and everything is OK.
At one gig, he meets the wonderful Julia Southbend (Drew Barrymore), which he becomes friends with. The next week, Robbie is going to get married himself, but his bride doesn’t show up.
Therefor he decides to quit singing at weddings, and just continue living a miserable life. He finds happiness again when he is singing at a Bar Mitzvah, and he manages to cheer a little boy up by getting Julia to dance with him. (Julia is a waitress, and she waits every wedding and bar mitzvah). When Julia is going to get married, Robbie helps her plan the wedding.
Julia realizes the she is in love with Robbie, and Robbie is in love with her, but they don’t know that…what are they going to do? Watch the movie to find out!

This movie isn’t a comedy, it is more like a feel good movie, and you are going to smile a lot, but you won’t have any laughs. The atmosphear in the movie is just wonderful, and that is what makes this movie so wonderful.
But, there is one thing that ponders me, Adam Sandler doesn’t sing very well, but he is supposed to be a wedding singer? His voice is like a cat being tortured to death! They should have gotten another voice on the singing, because Adam Sandler’s look is totally OK. And then we have Drew Barrymore, who plays Julia Southbend, and I she is probably one of the best actresses I know (after Julia Roberts and a few others). And it is truly amazing how they got it to look so much alike 1985, which is the year this is supposed to happen. If you are down and need something to cheer you up, go and rent this movie immediately, and you’ll be happy in no time.

Cartman_2k’s What you didn’t know about the Wedding Singer Alexis Arquette has the role as George in the movie, but Alexis is actually a woman, and she plays a transvestite in the movie! And, it took 5 weeks to make this movie, it was shot in Burbank, near Warner Bros studios.
