The dimensions with the window extender in place are: 27 inches minimal to 38 inches maximal.
The cooling capacity of this air conditioner is 12,000 BTU.
The energy efficiency ratio is 9.0.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I found the unit easy to install. I was fortunate enough that the height of the unit was a perfectly snug fit for the window I intended to install it in. All I had to do was to secure it and extend the accordion sides.
I am somewhat disappointed with its cooling capacity. It is install in a room within the recommended area. I understand that the new coolants that replace freon are less efficient but still I feel it should perform better.
As for the exclusive clean air technology, I did notice an improvement in our air quality. I also noticed that our sinuses are not affected when the unit is on.
For the claim of being the quietest line of air conditioners, yes it is quiet but I have witnessed other units as quiet.
The controls are easy to access and are also easy to understand.
One of the best features this unit offers is the easy access and easy cleaning of the filter. I make a habit of cleaning it at least once a month.
IN CONCLUSION
The Whirlpool air conditioner model ACQ122XJ is a good unit. I will admit that if I could find another one that also offers a clean option but does a better job at cooling down the room, I would switch.
