Wanted to HATE it, but was surprised...

I'm a working mother who has a "job" because I have to work, not because I'm a successful "career" woman. So when a complimentary subscription began to arrive at my house, I tossed it aside for one of those days when I was desperate for reading material (perhaps the bathroom?) I couldn't bear to read another article, never mind an entire magazine, based on how a successful career woman could effortlessly raise perfect children and have it all. That has not been my experience as a working mother. I was surprised to find interesting and relevant information for mothers who work and great tips/solutions to common issues: daycare, illness, behavior, etc...All in a condensed format without a lot of the usual filler fluff and excess advertising. I do still roll my eyes at some of the cover mothers - the perfect models of success (Vice Presidents of companies)with their impeccably groomed children smiling along with them, but don't let that discourage you. Inside you'll find good advice!
