Bose Schmose!

I was looking for an unobtrusive surround sound audio system. The Bose 321 just didn't do it for me. I saw the YSP-800 at Best buy and eventhough it wasn't set up in an optimal environment it did sound quite good. Additional research found that the technology involved DID produce TRUE 5.1 sound.

But the proof is in the pudding. Once home, It took about 15 minutes to hook up and another ten to run the auto-set up feature. It was really amazing hearing all these chirps and whirs buzzing all around the room.

First movie Star Wars IV, very impressive! I hooked a cheapo Koss sub-woofer from a $99.00 system and wow! Once I got the hang of the different sound parameters you can fine tune the sound beams and delay to suit your taste.

The amazing thing is that it doesn't "reproduce" 5.1 sound, the 23 drivers and amplifiers produce 5 beams that give you true 5.1 sound-amazing!
