Product Review

Your camera's best friend..

by   dropstitch ,   Jun 25, 2006

Pros:  Excellent build quality. Easy to install. Easier to customize than most other capture devices.

Cons:  Poorly written software, I had to rely on Windows Movie Maker and Adobe Premiere.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I've had no problems with this piece of kit whatsoever. It installed smoothly, runs smoothly and can capture anything from my guitar to my home movies ready to be burnt onto DVD.

I found that even though the software with the kit came poorly designed, and prevented you from doing even the most basic tasks like some of it's more professional counterparts.. the whole process ran smoothly through Windows Movie Maker and straight onto DVD through Windows.

The device is built to last, features support for S-Video as well as RGB and makes burning your home movies from Casette to DVD easy, quick and worth the money.

I'd recommend it to those who want to convert their casettes to DVD and personally I use it to capture my guitar and edit the sound through Audacity Audio software.
