Zojirushi NP-HBC10 5.5-Cup Rice Cooker

When I first saw this product I was very impressed with the specs... then I saw several reviews for it and all of them were 5 star. I was looking to buy a rice maker and I like top of the line technology. I was kind of hesitant to buy it. I looked around for a while and found one for a great price. It was still in the $200 range but the shipping was free. I had to get it. Now I eat alot of rice, for years I cooked it on the stove, then I bought a cheap $50 rice cooker, it was a step up. The rice cooked better and it was easier. That was a couple of years ago I was looking for a replacement. The more I looked the more Zojirushi popped up. It soon became apparent that Zojirushi was one of the best in the business. I looked at their website and picked the most advanced one I could find. I then searched online to find the cheapest price. I did and then I ordered it.

When I opened the box and took it out the first thing that caught my eye was the build quality. Every piece fits together so nicely. The buttons have a nice feel to them and the LCD screen is very easy to read. I read the instructions and started to make some rice. I put two cups of rice in (filled up the provided measuring cup twice) and put it in the cooker after rinsing it several times. I filled the bowl up to the two-cup line and hit "cooking." When the rice was finished I fluffed it with the provided spatula and scooped it into a bowl. This rice cooker makes the best rice I have ever had. It is warm, fluffy, all the way cooked, never burnt, and delicious. I was amazed, i knew it was going to be good but I was impressed. I would recommend this rice cooker to anyone who loves rice and wants the best of the best.
