AWESOME AIR CONDITIONER AND HEATER! Good Purchase

We purchased this air conditioner about 2 years ago and have not regretted it once! This thing has been running (almost constantly) for the past 2 years and we've never had any problems with it. It heats and cools (which is great) our entire upstairs (about 900 square feet, 3 rooms) very well. Our home is two story and we needed something upstairs to help with our HVAC b/c the central one isn't working too well. To be honest, we never even run our central unit, we stick with this window unit because it's MUCH cheaper to run.

What We LOVE:
This little unit pumps out enough cold/hot air to heat/cool our entire upstairs VERY WELL.
*It gives off that "white noise" which helps our little ones sleep soundly.
*The cool air constantly runs and doesn't "dog down" at all. The motor/unit is still good after 2 whole years! We've never once thought of replacing it. A very hardy machine!
*It has two fan speeds, but we keep it on the higher one which suits us better.
*The unit has a temperature gauge so you can set it to stop heating/cooling once it reaches whatever degree you want (from 60 to 86 degrees Farenheit). Once it reaches the desired temperature, the unit quits heating or cooling, but the fan does not turn off, at that point it only circulates the air at the current temperature. Once the air changes temperature, the unit automatically turns back on the heating/cooling function to stabilize the temp again. An energy-saving feature.
*It also has a "timer" feature so that you can set the unit to run from 1 to 12 hours straight and then it will shut off automatically. Another convenient power-saving feature.
*There are 3 separate settings to use the unit, from cooling, to heating, to just plain old fan to circulate air.
*The REMOTE! We LOVE this b/c we can just press what we want without having to actually go upstairs to the machine itself. You can turn the unit on or off, regulate/change the temperature setting, change the fan speed, set/change/turn off the timer, and change the mode from hot/cool/fan with the remote.
*Cleaning the filter is ultra-easy too. You just take it out, rinse it off, and put it back in. It also doesn't require much cleaning at all. We've done it 2 times in 2 years.

Things we're not so crazy about:
There's nothing negative I can report for this unit. It's just that good.
