Features
I have had this phone for about 4 months and i dont have much problems with it. The software is slow like any other motorola phone, but has many features such as music player, videos, camera, and java games. I don't use the music player but it seems like an okay feature, since it is a bit slow. The video recording is mediocre for a phone, but the pictures the phone takes are pretty good (for a camera). When you upload .3gp videos onto the phone and they have a very high quality encoding, it will lag the phone and skip. What i mean is that when you play a higher quality video, and you try to increase volume or stop the video it will take about 10 seconds after you push the button for the phone to recognize what you have pushed.
Call quality
Call quality is good, not GREAT, but good. I have this phone with tmobile (NYC) and it does not get dropped calls, i have yet to experience a dropped call. Voice quality is is also good, and not GREAt.
Battery Life
The thing i love most about this phone was that it charges the batteries in about an hour and a half. You can charge it on the miniusb for your computer that is included, or on the miniusb charger that goes in your outlet. I go for about 2-3 days before i need to charge again.
Design
Its blue and gray for tmobile, the other color scheme doesn't seem that much prettier. I don't like the design of the phone, wish it had a sleeker look. That would seal the deal...
Problems
I can't seem to connect the phone via bluetooth to my PALM tx to transfer files like pictures so that is a bit of a disappointment. You have to send mp3 files to the phone from the memory card before you can set it as ring tone because it is pretty annoying, since the phone has about 8mb free space and you can only fit about 1 or 2 mp3s on the phone. So you pretty much have to delete the songs on your phone before transfer new ones in from the memory card to make it as your ringtone. Has no problems connecting to my bluetooth headset though which is from motorola.
