While the phone does not seem to excel in any particular aspect, the combination of features and value packed into this purchase proves to be a good choice.
At first, let me say that the design of the phone does not stand out, but has some originality from the earlier moto models. The reception is good, although the voice quality is not quite up to the chase when compared to my old samsung phone. The outside LCD is NOT color, which is sad and definetly a feature i would have wanted to see for the $75 i paid for this phone. On a sharp contrast, the lcd inside the phone is high resolution and outblows most of the competition with 220 X 176 resolution and good brightness.
About the extras, the photo camera is VGA and is decent for small prints. The video camera is almost a joke since the videos are extremely low quality, but the competitiors' video phones are not much better either at this point. The mp3 player plays well, no complaints about that. The memory card slot is a very nice add too, that is usually found in more exensive phones. However, the phone can be quite slow, just as the RAZR and will often freeze up on you if you keep too many pictures on your card (i have around 200 :)
In the end, if you are looking a phone to show off the design, you might want to reconsider. Although, if you want impressive features, then this is the right phone. Sadly, for a combination of both, you'll have to overpay a good bit.
