Fabulous !!

I am immensely impressed with this camera.  I took about 3000 photos with this thing on a recent vacation and all but a few dozen came out incredibly sharp and in focus despite the fact that most were shot one handed from a moving van, bus, or boat.  I used the "Kids and things that move around" automatic setting for shots that I took from vehicles and Auto for all others.  A couple I used the into the sunset settings where that seemed the best idea.  I even got a couple of shots in light that was too dim to walk easily in on sand and by adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image in my image viewing software was able to get a reasonably clear shot of the subject.  The hand shake compensation feature of this camera is breathtaking.  I was fully expecting most of my vehicule based shots to come out blurry, but only a few dozen out of about 2000 such shots were at all out of focus presumeably due to extreme motion right at the time of the shutter opening. There were even a few small boat based shots of pelicans in flight which came out very sharp.
