I once was lost, but now am found, my GPS, how sweet.

Date of Review:  Oct 26, 2006
The Bottom Line: You can t go wrong with the Nuvi 350. It's the perfect travel companion in town or around the world. Simple, powerful, feature rich. Haven t regretted a single dollar paid.
Review: Back in the good ole days, out of college, no mortgage, no family, when 100% of my post-bar tab take-home pay was disposable, I would have gladly plunked down the dough for a GPS device. But then one day I realized how much money I d been wasting on...

Very tiny, very trick, very modern multifunction Navigator/MP3 player and more

Date of Review:  Nov 29, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is a really compact navigator for the business traveler. It is tiny and light and doubles as an MP3 player
Review: Updated July 22, 2006 to reflect the impact of the latest firmware release.

A Great Travel Companion

Date of Review:  Feb 26, 2007
The Bottom Line: A definite class-leader, a useful tool for travel and fun gadget to boot.
Review: Background
I am a business traveler and having to print out maps in preparation for each trip is always a hassle. I decided to purchase a GPS navigation/mapping unit to cut down on my trip preparation time, and to hopefully avoid having to make...

More than GPS, a travel tool

Date of Review:  Jun 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: Portability and speech functions justify the $799 list price. I would only consider cheaper models if those features are unimportant to you.
Review: Before purchasing this model, I looked at several other Garmins, Tom-Tom, a Magellan, and a Sony. The Nuvi won out primarily due to its ease of use, great portability, and speech functions. Though excellent, this unit is not without its quirks.

More out of your GPS, Less out of your wallet

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2006
The Bottom Line: With prices dropping by more than 1/2 since its initial release@ $970, you're running out of reasons to keep procrastinating. Functionality teamed with endless options makes this hard to pass!
Review: Procrastination had pushed off the idea of a GPS unit for years, mostly because of the skyrocketing prices when they first showed up. However, in the late 2006, I was rather surprised to find that many high quality units could be had for fractions...

Garmin Nuvi - one of the best

Date of Review:  Jan 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended; probably the best on the market at the time this was written.
Review: I was asked by a friend who recently lost her husband to cancer to evaluate two automotive navigation devices to help her get around our area (northern New Castle County, DE, just north of Wilmington). The first one she bought was the Lowrance iWay...

No thanks MapQuest, I'm covered.

Date of Review:  Feb 10, 2007
The Bottom Line: It looks great and works great. Clear, accurate, spoken instructions is what makes the Nuvi 350 a great decision.
Review: Arriving at home, on right.
Oh, how I love to hear my Nuvi tell me that but not only will it take me home, it will take me to where I m going and back, with a quick stop at Walgreens, and maybe a Starbucks along the way. Living in South...

A (MOSTLY) Compact GPS/MP3 Player

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2007
The Bottom Line: Good, highly portable GPS system. Some caveats for the hard-core road warrior, but basically a fine choice.
Review: I'd been looking at GPS systems for a while. My wife got a new car with one and I've been wishing I had one for mine. I was going to hold off, but my wife did research here and elsewhere and decided to surprise with one for Christmas. Overall, I...

Good with Some Very Annoying Quirks

Date of Review:  Jan 27, 2007
The Bottom Line: Bells and whistles aside, the Nuvi takes you to where you want or need to be. Isn't that what it's all about?
Review: I'm now on my second generation of Garmin products. I owned the c 330 for a year and have had the Nuvi 350 for about six months now. For the most part, I couldn't be happier with the ease of use and convenience of the device, and it's performance in...

Wonderful gadget--Why didn't I buy one sooner?

Date of Review:  Jul 16, 2007
The Bottom Line: Well worth the money. A great help, user-friendly, excellent support. Makes a real difference in my life when traveling!
Review: This is my first GPS unit, so I can't compare its use with others. I did read a lot of reviews and did some research before I purchased it, however. After using it on a recent driving vacation to several new destinations, I think it was an excellent...
