Spend Your Money Elsewhere

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this product. Spend a little more money to buy a quality television that will last.
DO NOT BUY THIS TV IF YOU CAN FIND IT.....
My husband and I bought an Ilo a couple of years back (March 2006). We liked the Ilo for two reasons. First, it has plenty of audio and visual jacks that could hold the gaming and digital systems we needed without changing them out constantly. This was the biggest selling point for us. We also liked the way it is looked in its sleek/slim design. However, within "4 to 6" months, we noticed problems occurring with the cheap television.
Problem Number One Changing Wait
First, the TV would not let us change any channels, nor increase volume or change to other devices for a few minutes (as if it needed to warm up that the section of the motherboard). It would also not allow us to change it through the remote until it done so. (THIS IS STILL AN ONGOING PROBLEM!).
Problem Number Two Turning On and Off
On top of the first problem, we noticed the TV turned itself on and off but this problem has since resolved itself though I am not holding my breath that it will last.
While we were okay with the first measure, we were not about the second one. I tried to contact Wal-mart about the matter. At the time we purchased the TV, we purchased the two-year warranty contract. However, we misplaced our receipt (we have a toddler after all) and were told they could do nothing for us even if we had the paperwork proving the warranty (WHAT?!) and referred us to the Wal-mart Headquarters who did nothing for us either. They were no longer carrying these televisions.
I have tried to call the company who made the televisions to address this problem. Forget it! Nothing. I just get recordings.
JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY and GO WITH A MORE EXPENSIVE, KNOWN BRAND TV. You get more out of it.
