Sorry, Bose...Polk's Got You Beat...By A Mile!

Pros: Great Sounding! Small! Involving sound! Onobtrusive! Customer support! Payment plan through Bose.Com.
Cons: Way over priced! Way out of line. A perceived rip-off!
The Bottom Line: The AM systems by Bose are wonderful sounding but at this price point, others surely have the Bose AM-16 beat.

Review: In many ways Amar Bose can be considered to be the father of small speaker technology. I wonder if anyone really gave "imaging" a thought before Bose introduced its flagship model 901 speaker system in 1968. Nobody had ever heard small speakers...

Pros: Excellent sound from tiny speakers, good bass reproduction
Cons: High Price, speakers in recommended setup must run through bass module
The Bottom Line: When a speaker system makes old movies, experience like new ones, then it is worth something
