Excellent toy, but you can shave for less.

Pros: Excellent entertainment item
Cons: Many of the features are unnecessary for the shaving; needs refills.
The Bottom Line: Very impressive as a gift; if all need is just a close shave, look elsewhere.

The Cleanest Shave, or Your Whiskers Back

Pros: The cleaning process, foil design, charge process, the shave.
Cons: Buying cleaning solution cartridges.
The Bottom Line: Provides an excellent shave in a cordless, with power and performance, and it's clean each time!

Pros: Improved base and foil. Heated cleaning. Smart chip. Self-cleans.
Cons: Cost of unit, cartridges, foils, and blocks.
The Bottom Line: The 8585 is a marked evolution from the 7000-series and well worth the investment.
