The Express Passenger Van G1500 regular wheelbase is now available with an all-wheel drive system. Other new changes include a redesigned frame, a minor front-end facelift, and dual power heated mirrors now offer integrated turn signal indicators. A new lineup of Vortec V8 engines is now standard on G2500 and G1500 AWD models. Alternative Fuel Conversion is now available with the Vortec 6.0L V8 engine. It offers a fully converted, dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) system or bi-fuel system using either CNG or gasoline. The OnStar is now available on all models. Passenger airbags now includes airbag deactivation on 2500 models. A passenger left side door is available on regular-length passenger van models. Less

Pros: low floor. Large cabin and load capacity. Easy seat removal.
Cons: Exterior appearance, interior furnishings, seat upolstery. Tools mounted on load floor with rear seat(s) removed.
The Bottom Line: This van is simply not in the same league with the Ford E-350. If price is your main concern, maybe this is the van for you.

We just replaced our well used '94, 15 pax, E-350 Club Wagon with a '03 Chevy Express 3500. We had plenty of experience with the extended cabin Ford and it served us well in heavy service, hauling both people and heavy parts in it's many years...

Pros: Smooth as silk, tons of space, quiet ride
Cons: Gas usage, big blind spots
The Bottom Line: If you are buying a big passenger van, definitely give this one serious consideration. Side by side comparisons led us right to the Chevy Express

Pros: Robust engine, affordable, great mileage, nice amounts of space, variety of colors, all-wheel drive.
Cons: gas drinker , exspensive repair costs, insurance, doesnt hold too many heavy loads,
The Bottom Line: I would truly recomend this Chevrolet to anyone who has basic hands-on work needs and is really looking for an affordableand reliable van that will accomidate that person

The all new 2006 Chevrolet Express Van seats a family of at least 8 and has features that could accomidate anyone who choses to drive it. With its soft comfortable seats and enough room in it for storage, it sure beats renting a uhaul if u ask me...
