Today HTC announced the Touch Dual, a device that adds a keypad to the popular HTC Touch design. Like the Touch before it, the Touch Dual makes use of HTC's TouchFLO finger based user interface extensions to allow users to navigate through the phone quickly and accurately with only a fingertip. Thanks to the addition of a slide-out keypad, the Touch Dual has a non-touchscreen based input method for entering text, which addresses one of the major complaints with the original Touch. The Touch Dual will ship with one of two different keypad designs. Some will use a conventional 16 key layout, but others will ship with a new 20 key design. The 20 key keypad is laid out in a QWERTY fashion that looks very much like the SureType keypad used on RIM's BlackBerry Pearl devices, with 5 columns of keys and each key representing two letters of the alphabet. In addition to the keypad, the Touch Dual also gains 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, double the RAM and built-in storage, and improved GSM battery talk times. A Symbol by Any Other Name

by bobbyted , Dec 22, 2007
Pros: Small size, PDA, keyboard, wireless and cellular capabilities.
Cons: Does not charge well from the single USB.
The Bottom Line: So far, would recommend to others. The cell phone should be more dominately featured, since e-mailing and phone activities prevail when on move.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: With Mororola's buy out of Symbol, expect to see Motorola using the Symbol's name. Mine is branded as a Symbol MC35. I did not buy this smart phone. It was issued to me at work for mobile data applications. There is a variation of this product that...

Review: ~~~~ Introduction ~~~~
HTC have been manufacturing PDA style mobile phones for many years. They are popular at being rebranded by most of the major network providers namely orange with their SPV range of products (see my orange spv review)...

Takes a Beating Well

by adrienne10 , Aug 20, 2009
Pros: small, multiple methods of texting style, syncs with computer
Cons: not super small, sometimes the touch screen can be "touchy"
The Bottom Line: This is a great touch-screen phone.  There are many choices available, but the simple design and tough durability make this an excellent option.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: When time came to renew my contract, I also needed a new phone.  I had a Razor knock-off and had grown accostumed to the size of a slim phone.  My husband had a touch-screen phone, and suggested I get one.  He also wanted me to step up into...
