Pros: none
Cons: don't work
The Bottom Line: The unit does not work to specifications and made the area very warm and was unpleasantly noisy. I recommend not buying this brand period.

Review: We bought this unit in April 2008 for $147. Our basement has always had high humidity and we have always run a dehumidifier 7 days a week 365 days a year to keep it down and to not have a musty smell in the basement. It worked for about a month, but...

Haier HDN455

Pros: Nice, clean design. Easy to move around. Simple to operate and quiet.
Cons: Priced in the range of similar size units with more electronic glitz.

Review: Replaced a 15 year old Kenmore dehumidifier with a new Kenmore 50 pint unit. I can't begin to explain how bad the new Kenmore unit performed. In short, noisy, constantly turning on and off, extremely cheap construction.
