Excellent buy for the price

Pros: Backward compatibility, plenty of In- and Outputs, DV quality on Hi-8 MP tapes, Nightshot Plus
Cons: Lenscap clip, no windnoise button, original battery too weak, bigger ones too expensive.
The Bottom Line: Ideal budget model for families to preserve and upgrade from Hi-8 to the digital DV format.

Pros: Incredible picture Easy to use "Easy Button" Feels solid and complete
