Pros: Excellent build, amazing quality footage and more than enough recording time.
Cons: Battery Life. Not an ideal film hobbyist camcorder (no 24p or 30p).
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for the family.

Pros: Beautiful images, compress to email very well, small, easy software for download, works on iMovie
Cons: awkward to hold, touchy zoom, useless GPS, Sony service
The Bottom Line: Nice camera for decent price and fabulously easy to use with lovely video quality. You'll need to learn to edit and email to satisfy your need to show it off.

Pros: recording to 120G hard-drive, daylight video quality, Steady Shot, included software
Cons: no viewfinder, LCD in sunlight, very noisy lowlight recording, no shoulder strap
The Bottom Line: Check other models/manufacturers. $800 camcorder must perform great not only from 8am to 5pm and it must come with shoulder strap and viewfinder.
