Review: I guarantee it. This is not a product that you will buy and simply put aside and forget about it. That's how indispensible it is. I explain the reasons why in the "Why get a digital VCR" section of Tivo/Replay.

TiVo Experience - The Early Days

Pros: Attractive, stylish, modern. Jam-packed with features, upgradable. The Sony reputation, the TiVo service.
Cons: More expensive brand. Less friendly for DIY storage additions. Update (7/10/04): Sony modems die often!
The Bottom Line: Great product, great company. More expensive but worth it. TiVo has come a long way, but can go much farther! UPDATE (7/10/04): Sony has serious modem quality problems. TiVo's great!
